When the Cat's Away...

Well, our Daddy Cat has gone away for a few days, but I'm not sure if the mice are playing any more than usual. They were already a pretty playful set! What it does mean, though, is that Mommy Cat is a lot more tired than usual after the mice finally go to bed! Thankfully, he'll only be gone a few more days.

It's Thursday night, the beginning of our weekend, so tonight I let the kids make a tent and watch a movie in it. Don't think for a second that they all lay there so sweetly and calmly all the way through the movie! They had fun, though.  

They did take one little intermission to chat with Daddy over skype for a few minutes. Lee Anna told him about the exciting package that came in the mail today with Valentine cards and candy and the prints of the photos she took at Aunt Claire's wedding. Sarah Claire told him important things like, "I'm wearing my pajamas!" And Sawyer pretty much just made silly faces.

And yes, my desk is a mess. I admit it. But I'm much too tired to do anything about it. Maybe when Daddy gets back...
